Interesting Tidbits

Some Letters written at the end of the TFM 2009 class by the Graduates:

I have just completed the TFM 7-week study and I just wanted to encourage you to think about taking this class. I feel sooo much more confident as a stay at home mom now. Before I really struggled with the pressure of being our children’s first teacher. I mean sure I’m at home with them 8 hours a day, but what do I do with them? Have you ever felt that way? Well after this class I do have a ton of them just flitting in my head, and not only are they there but I’ve done them—a lot of them. If you are like me and concerned about prices of educational toys, well don’t be because these “toys” /games are all homemade –out of stuff we would have just thrown away. I mean, need a way to entertain your child while making your grocery list and looking at the ads? Well, let them roll a die or shout out a number for them to find on the ad page. Want to teach science? Have Jr. round up items they think will sink or float and put it to the test in the kitchen sink while you are baking cookies. It’s amazing how simple these ideas are but how much they will impact your child’s whole future. So, seriously consider taking this class, pray about it and if you have questions, ask me because I just can’t rave enough about this class. It’s wonderful. In Him, ------

I just took this class called Tools for Motherhood. It was wonderful. You, as a mother lean so much, Mary is easy to understand and she gets the fun activities to you. It is nice to be with other mothers in the class and see what they are doing with their kids. It’s nice to know what works for other mothers and how well the kids like it. So I really hope you signed up for the class.---

If you’re interested in helping your child learn how to use daily activities to encourage their development, you need to take this class! It’s so inspirational to give you motivation to see just what your child is capable of! It’s so exciting to know you can be such a huge part of your child’s learning.---

I am in a class called Tools for Motherhood. I have been able to work with other women and brainstorm ideas and activities to do with my children. Each week we were given ideas and verses to encourage us as mothers.---

I would encourage you to take this class, because it will encourage you as a mother, not only in what you are already doing, but also in coming up with new ideas and having confidence in teaching your children.---
You can learn and teach as much as you want to… This course was a great overview of each subject and so many different and creative ideas of how to teach or invest 15 minutes in your child daily with the stuff you have in your own home. Mary is amazing at utilizing what she has and is a wealth of information! Take what you can from this study and apply it to your life make it apart of who you are as a mom! Make it your lifestyle, you as a parent are your child’s best and most important teacher here on earth! I thoroughly enjoyed learning under Mary, she did a great job of encouraging us as moms even in the areas we struggle in. I really hope you enjoy this class as much as I have! Thank you Mary.
